The idea for this blog came out of discussions at the 2008 Annual General Meeting of NASCO. During the work sessions on enviromental sustainability, we learned that many of the member cooperatives of NASCO have been undertaking various schemes to decrease their environmental impacts and increase their sustainability. These actions are often invisible outside of the coop, so this blog was created to allow coopers to share their environmentally friendly inventions, installations, and social systems with each other. If you do anything to make your coop more sustainable, take a picture, write a short description, and post it here! Links to blueprints, recipes, schematics, grant foundations, etc. will be helpful for other coopers who wish to recreate your success.
